We loved hosting both events. We learned how important time management and planning ahead of the event is. From the first Smoothie and Yoga event to the second event, the Health and Wellness Fair, we became much more organized and inspired to do things the 'right' way to have a success and smoothly- run event we were proud of. We grew as leaders and as individuals within a team. We also found out about strengths we had that we did not realize before, such as who was good at art, public speaking and addressing last minute adjustments. It feels good to know that we accomplished our goals and made an impact on our student body. We also were excited by the positive feedback we received from other students who enjoyed our events. Lastly, we are happy to know more about health and wellness ourselves so we can be part of the inspiration to increase healthy living in our own families and communities.
